Okay, this is what I don't understand. They are a Jewish sorority! That's what they were founded on! And, I'd be willing to bet that their founders were all Jewish as well! The star of David is on their coat of arms (crest)! So, why in the world would you want to be in a Jewish-related sorority if you're not Jewish? That makes no sense to me...it would be like if I wanted to join a Latin-American or Asian-American sorority...I'm Caucasan...to me it just doesn't make sense!
Also, I have a problem with the whole "Rush parties" (it's called Recruitment!) The games they played seemed a little intimidating...although I'm sure that they took volunteers. And, I don't remember who said it, but the comment on why the girls got "gussied up" for the "rush parties"? I'm not sure if everyone does this, but when I went through Recruitment in 2000, we had a list of what to wear everynight! (The potential new members, I mean). So, why in the world wouldn't they get "gussied up"?
Here's my other question...are the NPC sororites recruiting at the same time as the Sigmas? Just a thought...
