In years past, the number of legacies individual chapters had probably factored in the decision of whether to give them the automatic invitation to 14. Chapters will smaller number of legacies usually tried to invite them back, chapters who had 100+ legacies usually did not invite them all back. The year I went through, all of the girls in my rush group got invited back to their legacy chapters for 14 party, except one. But, we all knew in advance that this chapter had over 100 legacies coming through. The open house round lasts 30 minutes per chapter, I know that near the end of each day I tended to get tired. I am sure I was not the only one. I think chapters are more likely to take a chance and invite a legacy back since there are two more rounds after 14 and so many women going through. However, this is
