Anytime girlie...I am a major proponent AGAINST honorary memberships. I don't believe they add much value to our organizations except name recognition. Most of the people that "we" induct don't even know about our organizations...It's all well and good to have a list of "famous" people...but when they can't even tell you the name of the organization they've joined or the colors or better yet confuse your org with another org...then really, WHAT'S THE POINT? In my opinion, just because someone wants to add your organization to their list of "accolades and achievements" doesn't make them worthy to be associated with your org...Boo Hiss on Honorary Membership...but let me get off my soap box...
