Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. I'm not into strippers, but I try not to be critical of others if that's what they prefer. Nene is such a fraud, because she was a stripper herself, ... however, I don't think she expected such a lewd display.
I think most of them thought it would be innocent-, though edgy, type fun ... but when fun turns VULGAR, ... especially when you know there are older people there (not to mention all the heterosexual men who were there and
NOT amused), Phaedra should have exercised caution, and at least briefed "Mama Joyce" about how far this particular "entertainer" might go.
Phaedra has shown herself to be inappropriate in so many ways throughout this season. I haven't gotten over the "prayer cloth" yet. I was raise COGIC as well, and that is NOT what prayer cloths are used for.
When ladies cover their "luscious thighs and kneecaps" in church, it is done with a simple handkerchief. The prayer cloth is for, ... well, PRAYING.
