Yeah, they're okay. I started reading at the beginning and liked them. Somewhere around "White Knight" or "Proven Guilty," though, I really fell in love with the world. A lot of people complain about how Butcher being sexist, but I don't agree. I think Harry is a bit of a sexist, but Butcher writes some great women characters. Molly, Susan, Charity, Murphy, Luccio, and Laura Raithe are some of my favorite characters in any fantasy setting, ever. I like that Butcher has taken the time to think about how his female characters see each other and has clearly thought out their relationships to each other, in addition to their relationships to Harry. They pass the Bechdel test on a regular basis.
