Whenever I buy a new computer, I always uninstall any "anti-virus" software that comes with it, ... ya know, those programs that tell you to "subscribe" to their service to prevent viruses? Yeah, those. If you don't subscribe to their monthly protection, they will simply SEND you a virus. They're rip-offs taking advantage of people's ignorance about the internet and software. I have never had a virus on my computer because I always uninstall the anti-virus software. Microsoft has a free program on their website called "Microsoft Security Essentials" that will wipe out ANY bugs you're having problems with. You can download it right from their website free of charge. Hope this helps.
