USC (CA) Breaks Fundraising Record
The University of Southern California, a private research university, announced a record breaking year for donations. In the last twelve months SC has had $1.2 BILLION in gifts. Historically this may be the largest amount of funds raised by a university in a 12 month period.
SC's new president, Dr. C.L. Max Nikias, with the Board of Trustees will embark upon a huge fundraising effort named, "The Campaign for USC".
By 2018 the university hopes to have raised a record of $6 Billion.
