But wouldn't upping the punishment include....DEATH PENALTY?
It's been my observation that most criminals are very selfish people....their crimes are based on personal gain and they value themselves and their life much more than others. If the death penalty was an "easy out" like you said, you'd have people
ASKING for death during sentencing....yet it's always seems to be the other way around...
