Ok, so I had a hard time going to bed during the evening because I could be preffing or not be preffing the next morning. I went on facebook to distract myself for a bit, and then tried to go to bed. At 12:30 am, my phone rings. I screamed NOOOOOOOOO and looked at my phone in terror, but IT WASN'T MY RHO GAMMA!!! It was only my friend, and I yelled at her for scaring the crap out of me!! She told me she got some bad news and was released from rush (It was also her second time going through)
My heart was deeply broken for her. I waited until 1:30 am, and I did not receive a phone call, and finally went to sleep.
Sooo pref morning....I was a bit scared about my list, but I was seriously hoping
Secret Life was on it! I loved them, but I also really liked
Greek as well!
My Rho Gamma gave me my list with a big smile, and there I saw
Secret Life and
Greek on my list!! I can't believe these two really saw something in me the whole entire time! I was so happy that I had made it this far, and I knew that I was most likely guaranteed bid (well hopefully).
I saw
Secret Life first.
[COLOR="rgb(46, 139, 87)"]Secret Life[/COLOR]- The room was so nicely decorated and the girls had dressed elegant/classy as ever! My really good friend in this sorority was the one that preffed me. I was really happy she preffed me because we did not get to talk that much during the whole weekend, and we got to catch up with each other. She told me how badly she wanted me to become a Secret Life, but she said she would also respect my choice and it was my decision. She told me she just wanted me to be in a sorority this year, no matter what the letters were. The ceremony was beautiful and the girls made toasts (don't worry they used apple cider hehe) to the ones they preffed. I knew this is where I wanted to be, and I wasn't basing my decision on my friend, but I knew this was the perfect fit for me!
Greek- I enjoyed the Pref ceremony here as well, but they didn't decorate the room really..they just had lights on the floor basically, but it still had that nice intimate setting. The girl who preffed me was a girl I did not get to meet during the weekend, but she told me she had heard really good things about me and read out a personal letter to me. It was really sweet! The ceremony was very moving here...a little tear came out of my eye. I really liked it, but I liked
Secret Life just a tiny bit better. I would still be happy here if I got a bid.
When it was time to sign our preference card I ranked the following:

I only had to wait about 2 hours because bid day was within the same day!
