I survived the first day and was very anxious to find out what my schedule would look like today. I was hoping for a full schedule of 9 houses but I knew if I didn’t I would be okay with that too, it only takes one! Most people would see the most cuts this day because girls were cut based on grades, I crossed my fingers that my GPA was seen as asset to the houses and went to receive my schedule from my Rho Gamma.

A huge wave a relief came over me after I saw my schedule! I had a full schedule and was going back to all of the houses I loved! I was a little bummed that I didn’t get invited back to Derek but with all the other awesome houses that I did, but it barely even phased me. I was very happy that I didn’t get invited back to the houses that I found super awkward to talk to. Now I could just be myself and not have to put a fake smile on for those houses.

Today would consist of skits that the houses had put together to show us the values of their houses. I was really excited to see these and I was ready for a good laugh!

Alex- Alex had a really super skit idea that they went off of. It was all about two girls that were on vacation and they were facebooking all of these Alex girls. I was so impressed by the set up that they had and I wasn’t literally laughing out loud and it wasn’t a fake laugh, it was genuinely funny! There was more small talk about majors, movies, travelling and the kind of foreign languages we took in high school. There was really nothing very personal or deep. Once again they had two PNMs for every member, I am not a fan of this recruitment method. I had fun at this house and it was starting to grow on me!

Owen- I was about ready to jump out of my skin when I saw that Owen was on my schedule for the day. I was so excited to see some of the girls personalities come out in their skit and man was that skit hilarious. The funny thing was, compared to all of the other houses they had like no props but there’s was by far one of the funniest ones. The girls in the skit were just so funny! It was the classic recruitment group skit where there were all these different personalities in one group and they all had to interact. So funny!! The skit really reminded me of my friends and myself; we would totally do the same thing in a heartbeat. The girls I talked to after the skit were some of the same girls that I had talked to the day before and I loved how they remembered certain things that we had talked about. We had some awesome conversations about how they had such a support system within their sisterhood. I couldn’t get over how much I loved this house!!

Mark- I so super happy to be invited back to this house today! The girls were so sweet and down to earth. They had a really good skit that really showed the main points of what their sisterhood meant to them. The girls I talked to after the skit were pretty interesting to talk to but I didn’t feel as great of a connection to them as I had the previous day. I really like this house overall still, and it was still one of my top picks.

Christina- I was excited to be back at this house today! Christina’s skit was okay, and I was a little disappointed. It was just a little weird and my host/active member kept talking to me the whole time so it was really distracting. Once the skit was over we went back upstairs and talked some more and after being bumped to a few different girls I was bumped to a girl that had actually gone to the same school as me! She said that she wanted to make sure that she got a chance to talk to me and that was nice to hear. I was really comfortable talking to her and it was nice to see a familiar face and be able to talk. We really talked about the bonds that being in a sorority makes. I was glad that I left the house loving it because at the beginning, during the skit, I was feeling a little unsure.

April- I was back and the skit was sooo cute! It was April through history and how it has changed and stayed the same. The girls did a very nice job of getting through their skits and doing there best not to laugh! After the skit I had an amazing conversations with my girl and we didn’t run out of things to talk about it. There was no small talk, which was such a relief! I had so much fun at April and I could see myself in so many of the girls.

Bailey- I wish I could come back saying that I loved this house and that I am glad that I gave it a second chance, but the truth is I wasn’t really all that impressed with it on this day. The skit was very cute and it was super funny but the turn off was the girl I was talking to. She was uninterested in what we were talking about. I had to ask her all the questions and when I gave my input she would look off and not even pay attention to me. I was really disappointed because I really wanted to like this house. I had to decide how much I would let this conversation affect my decisions for the night.

Meredith- I am not sure why, but I just did not have fun at this house on the second day. That was a bummer because I had loved it so much the day before. My particular host was almost a little annoying. I know that is rude but I am doing my best to tell you how I felt this whole week. I don’t know what it was about her that made me feel that way, but I just did. Their skit was cute but not very original and I didn’t understand it very well. It was Grease themed. I left the house a little discouraged because I had had such an amazing time the first time around and I didn’t know what to think of them now.

Teddy- I was so pumped to be back at this house!! I couldn’t wait to meet some more of the girls and get to know them more. The skit was very well done and it looked like they put a lot of effort into it and it really paid off. The girl I was with was so cute and nice! I loved talking to her and we talked about clothes for a while, one of my favorite subjects! LOL You could just tell how much all these girls loved being together and the time just flew by while I was there. Left the house feeling excited and hopeful.

George- Last house of the night! Since I knew it was my last house of the night I got a rush of energy to get me through the next 40 minutes. I talked to two people that were in the skit and they were hilarious and I loved talking about them. We were joking with each other the whole time but still made sure to talk about what I was looking for in a sorority. So, the skit was so funny! It was so clever and they have to have had to put so much work into it. I had so much fun at George and I didn’t want to leave when it was time to go!

Ranking was pretty easy on this night and I was thankful for that! The houses that I choose to put on my bottom were kind of a bummer because I did have such a good time at all of them the first day, but they just lacked something on this day. Just like the previous night we choose 3 houses to put in our bottom and rank them from favorite to least favorite.
