Most of the girls were like her, very confused but crying because they were so happy. She was there by 11 AM with the other girls so it was taken care of quickly. Each pnm discussed it privately with panhell, so it's not like she knew what house each girl was getting a surprise bid offer from. But she did talk with some of the girls when they left and the bids were from houses they had been cut from 3rd party. My PNM is so happy. I am waiting for my niece and her best friend to update me as they did not receive a call and they should be there around 5PM. I think the reveal is at 6PM, not 100% sure on this. I did hear from all the girls that there were girls that were suiciding. It was taken care of this morning though, after what I'm sure was a crazy night for panhell.
I was really surprised and confused when I heard this as well. She doesn't have the bid in hand, she was advised she would receive her bid with everyone else today. But she had not written their name down (since she didn't pref them) so she needed to advise them if she would accept the bid.
Only the girls that were not matched were there and they told them they did not match, but they had been offered a bid by a different house.
It was the house that the bid was coming from that was surprising to me.
I'm glad for your PNM, but it's too bad she won't have the pleasure of attending preference at her new home. It's always such a beautiful experience. But, wow, what a head-spinning turn of events for her!
