Didn't mean to present it like that...I just wanted to say there is more out there than just one type of hip hop.

I like The Roots. I like Common (hell I love Common). But they are just as pretentious and posturing in their own way as any Bad Boy artist. They just use a different schtick. Artistic freedom, like I was saying is more important than any of my or your opinions on the music.
