The difficulty of reading tone on the internet comes into play here. Sometimes a QFP is just a QFP and not a snark or asshole move in and of itself. Topics that we KNOW are going to have a lot of comments because of their controversy or topic are going to be the most likely to disappear.
If it's just a veiled QFP by quoting and saying something banal, there's not really any improvement it just "looks" nicer.
