LP does produce a lot of prints that don't fit into their traditional pink-and-green pastel palette:

Granted, that's a Fall collection, but elements in black, bordeaux, etc. wouldn't look wildly out of place in that family of prints. I wore my new (solid purple) Lilly this week, and everyone was really surprised when I told them where I got it. I guess LP really wanted to push the old-school Lilly look with as many of these as possible.
