I like mine, I use it a lot, but it has one huge draw back, no timer! I have two so I always have a clean one, but to clean it I rinse it in the sink, unscrew the pieces, put it in the dishwasher. Mine isn't double walled but I knit a cozy out of soy wool that keeps it hot. If I don't want a full pot I have a mug that is french press, as well as a portable folding press that fits inside a nalgene for camping.

No cholesterol issues here, but that is good info to know. It kind of surprises me, though since I'm not sure what in coffee beans would do that.

BTW... I have to drink decaf. I really do drink coffee for the taste and not the caffeine.
