They dont have a set number of girls that will get a spot..it is based on how many attend preference parties on the last night. For example..(and this is very simplified and might not be 100% correct) if there are 10 chapters and 1000 girls are still in the running on preference night, then each chapter can extend 100 bids. Last year the quota was around 52. It will hopefully be higher this year because more girls are going through recruitment. It really depends on how many drop out before pref...in a perfect world, none would drop out
. I hope this makes sense! Right now there are 13 Chapters and 1198 girls so if no one dropped out, each pledge class would be around 92..
