Well, it wouldn't be a good story without a little drama. My daughter was invited back to six chapters today (out of a maximum of seven), but was cut from several of her favorites. Fortunately, she still has six amazing chapters left. Today, she will be attending:
Grande Baroque
Strasbourg
Candlelight
Eloquence
Chrysanthemum
Acorn
Repousse (my chapter
) cut her. This was her favorite and the one I was really worried about. She was also cut by Rose Point, in which she has some friends. I don't think she was expecting this at all. There were some tears this morning and I only got to speak with her briefly on the phone. But within 30 minutes I had a text from her saying "I'm just going to put my head up and be gracious to the houses that wanted me back. If they want me, I want to be with them." I couldn't be more proud of her than I am at this moment.
