Question Woah there

I apologize but anytime I see factually incorrect material, I feel the need to correct it, so here it goes:

As far as I can tell, the only reference "those sigmas" made to AePhi is:

In the mid 1990's, Alpha Epsilon Phi (AEF), a national Jewish sorority, closed its charter at the University of California at Davis, leaving the Jewish women at this campus without a social organization especially for them. Several attempts were made to found other Jewish women's groups, but unfortunately, none of these groups were successful enough to withstand the test of time.

This doesn't really affiliate Sigma with "AEPhi" in any way other than to suggest that with AEPhi's abscence, another Jewish Sorority was needed to fill the void. I think most of the AEPhi chapters are full of mature girls, and thus " hell will not break loose."

And as to the "group" remark, what the Sigma site says is that in its founding year, SAEPi was more of a group then a sorority. However, as it grew, and gained traditions, it became recognized as an Associate Member of the Panhellenic Council(an honor which I think only Sororities and Fraternities are offered.)

If anyone has any questions about the Sigma Sorority, either ask questions to me, Sigma_Insider, or Lioness. Each of us knows a great deal about the sorority. Doing so is a lot easier than spouting hostile (often untrue) rhetoric, that does nothing to unite the greek community.
