I know this has been suggested many times to others in similar positions, but she should also look around at her peers, not just the current members. Even if she didn't feel much connection with the current members of Amber and Moonstone, she should pay attention during pref. to the other PNMs who are attending with her. The pledge classes will come from these women, and she'll probably end up spending more time with them than with the older women. If she feels a connection with them, that may give her some extra encouragement and prevent her from suiciding.
