These are two articles that can help because I'm not sure I would explain it with enough clarity. But usually I use Microsoft Word. And this is an example of how I do it. I have a list of 10 names and addresses in one word document. In another word document I have a letter where it says name and address up top and when i mail merge, then it takes each of the names and addresses, plugs them into the letter, and creates 10 personalized letters.
