Smile Greetings From An Aspiring Greek of BGLO

Hello. I am a professional woman of color looking to fellowship with other educated, professional women of color. As someone who lives in a predominately white area, attends a "mixed" church and has a caucasian spouse it is sometimes challenging to find what I am looking for.

I participate in community service activities where I help to teach aspiring entrepreneurs about financial business matters. I also volunteer at the local library. I recently discovered that one of the staff members of the organization where I provide my financial services is a member of the BGLO I am interested in joining. I have attended a public event hosted by one of the local Graduate Chapters of this organization and I would like to attend more of those functions.

I would like to get advice on how to interact with members of the organization without seeming "too shy" or "too blatant".
