None of my sorors said anything about AKA that was negative in this thread. I don't think HolyGhost7 meant anything about AKA.
Some people feel the need to post on Sigma forum only when they want to say bad stuff, then plead ignorance/I don't know any Sigmas/I didn't mean any disrespect/I don't go to the Sigma forum (you came today) when they don't ever post anything decent or of class when a tragedy happens. That's hypocrisy at it's best. I guess I recognize it, too.
Peace Out!

Not mad in the least... I'm sure we all remember the things that got us heated on GC at one point or another. But that's exactly my point - my soror was not PMed by the majority, but straight BLASTED in the forum even after she *apologized*. Now, I didn't even trip over that, because I know we all make mistakes sometimes, and when you disrespect, you should expect to be criticized. When I read what your soror posted, of course I was slightly offended - but I didn't see the point in posting a response, so I did not. What doesn't make sense to me is why is okay for my soror to get publically blasted for something she posted, but nobody is entitled to "rant" about your soror's disrespect? It is a public forum, after all. She made the choice to post what she did - that is her business. Some ladies of AKA and DST chose to respond publicly - that is theirs. I have love for members of ALL FOUR organizations, so I apologize if this is coming across in the wrong way - I just recognize hypocrisy when I see it.
My right to defend Alpha Kappa Alpha is not certified by what you think I should or shouldn't post. If I feel the need to defend my organization, I will do so. And I do have something to say about the fact that most didn't respond to the post concerning your fallen soror. Perhaps, LIKE MYSELF, they did not visit the Sigma Gamma Rho forum on that particular day. My regular stops usually include AKA Ave. and DST Blvd. because those are the people I've gotten to know the best on GC. Had I stopped around this way, you can be sure I would have offered my condolences as I have done many times before in various other forums. The tragic death of a young black woman transcends petty bickering, in my mind.
And on that note, I'll mosey back on over to AKA Avenue. That's all the "dumb s###" I have for today, folks.
