Baylor is a Southern Baptist school, yes,(so is Wake Forest), but speaking as someone who grew up Southern Baptist, we considered it a SB school in name only. I can't say what constitutes crazy ties - Southern Baptists are independent little cusses - shoot - we barely had ties to each other, let alone the schools.
Like my fellow alum WC, I would have to go with NO Oregon State. Youngest actually did consider it. I don't think I could've let her come home wearing orange and black. Blech!
Fortunatly UW was never on the table (she inexplicably hated Seattle).
