Great advice! And staying well rested and hydrated is also really great.
(Now, I'm assuming you're going through at UF? - If so, keep in mind that it will overlap with your first two days of classes. That being said:
don't skip your classes!! I know you may hear that the first day is pointless, but if you miss it, you may actually miss something very important!!)
