Actually, neicy, in my city, since it is a city, not some podunk town where just anyone can do hair and nails, you have to be LICENSED. You have to be BOARD CERTIFIED and that means you have to learn to cut any type of hair. But, those women had no problem doing my hair in the privacy of their own homes, just in their place of business. And when you were eight could you do your own hair? If so you could have been a hairdresser at twelve I am sure!
Sweetheart, if those women were "racist" they wouldn't have done your hair AT ALL.Please note the words AT ALL.Do you think if they truly hated you because of your "color" they would have even been bothered with your hair?I know plenty of "white" establishments that don't do black hair and the black women that are turned away aren't offered a visit to their homes.
So, I am sure they were not just keen on doing black women's hair, because there were many times they did my hair IN THEIR HOMES ONLY. They didn't want me in their business because it looked bad.
I swear your ignorance angers me more and more.
You are NOT the only one who knows how it feels to have someone do something against you because your skin wasn't the "right" color.

Ignorant??Ignorant about what hun? I never said that I was the ONLY one who encountered racism.I said what YOU went through wasn't racism. The copy and paste/quote function is always available.
