Actually, neicy, in my city, since it is a city, not some podunk town where just anyone can do hair and nails, you have to be LICENSED. You have to be BOARD CERTIFIED and that means you have to learn to cut any type of hair. But, those women had no problem doing my hair in the privacy of their own homes, just in their place of business. And when you were eight could you do your own hair? If so you could have been a hairdresser at twelve I am sure!
So, I am sure they were not just keen on doing black women's hair, because there were many times they did my hair IN THEIR HOMES ONLY. They didn't want me in their business because it looked bad.
I swear your ignorance angers me more and more.
You are NOT the only one who knows how it feels to have someone do something against you because your skin wasn't the "right" color.
