go noles! your best bet will be to call the greek life office and ask them these questions. that being said, i believe that all the fraternities participate in spring rush-luckily, it does not have the stigma that it does for sororities.

where you are living should not matter at all and it should not matter that you are rushing in the spring, unless a fraternity is not participating in spring recruitment for whatever reason.

there are numerous fraternities at fsu, so you should have ample opportunity to meet a lot of guys. spring pledge classes typically are smaller than fall pledge classes, but that is not a bad thing.

have you visited the fsu greek life website? they have great information for folks interested in greek life and there will be an attachment somewhere on the site, called the tomahawk http://greeklife.fsu.edu/Documents/Tomahawk%202011.pdf that you should look at(if you have not already done so). call the greek life office with your questions.
