Hey everyone,
So sorry that I've been gone for so long. I've been trying to take care of business
First off, welcome ONElove to GC! I hope you enjoy your stay here! It's a great place to meet other Greeks and gain a lot of valuable information.
Second, my sorority was new on my alma mater's campus 2 years ago. I am a Founder of my chapter, so I can tell you firsthand that getting started on a campus was not easy. I think the biggest obstacle was just trying to get our name out to on campus. That's something that we still work at til this day. Then there was of course getting to know the other greeks on campus. I will be honest and say that we didn't have a problem w/ the fraternities
But unfortunately, some of the sororities weren't that welcoming. At this point, though, some of the sororities have really opened up and we've been able to work w/ a few of them. However, there are some that just refuse to really open up. We don't let that get to us though. I mean, we can't make people like us that don't want to. So it's all good. We continue to work w/ who we can and work w/in the community.
