That's just it- we don't know. We don't know how drunk he was, or if he was at all. Yes, maybe poor judgement, but he's not the one that drove, and while he is somewhat culpable for his own death in choosing to get into a car with a drunk person (however much his judgement was affected by a substance), I don't see how there is more reason to hate on him rather than the person that *actually* drove drunk and had a history of driving drunk.

I have absolutely no tolerance for drunk and/or buzzed driving. Too many people that I know have had their lives shattered by people like that, even when it's "Trust me officer, I've only had 2 beers."
