I disagree strongly with the Sigma Chi from the University of North Florida who said that the Pikes have "a bad rap" in the state of Florida, and I have adressed him directly in another thread. Nationally, the Pikes have the largest average chapter size of any fraternity, and have held that honor for many years. That doesn't necessarily make us good guys but it is one measure of enduring strength. Yes, our chapter was suspended a year at UF, but they are back now and among the leaders. My chapter at FSU was gone for years, but we are back now and are again the largest, with the best grades and the intramural championship. I think we're good guys too. I'd say that if you look at all the fraternity chapters at all the schools in Florida, with the exception of USF the Pikes are among the leaders on every single campus.
