AZ-Alpha Xi and I went to Starr Pass last night for Candle Lighting. We got to meet OleMissGlitter ("OMG") and AOIIAlum and AOII Angel's sister. And other AOIIs too. And we got to do a little badge/jewelry show and tell.
The ceremony was incredibly moving and lovely and inspiring. There is a projection of the letters AOII and a rose (I think) on one of the mountainsides to the south of StarrPass - it is so beautiful at night. Very impressive.
And they are all commenting on how hot and dry it is. Told you. Drink water, eye drops, lip balm, and oil your skin. But - it's a dry heat!
Hope the rest of the convention goes well. Thank you for including us in this ceremony, it was a special night.
