I guess it depends where you go to school...

...Because if I showed up to a fraternity party looking like I just came from working the street, I'd have eyes rolling... Usually the ones who are way too overdressed are the freshman girls (and their still-in-high school friends) who are showing up to their first college party. I only make exceptions if I'm going out to a club after the party.

As far as purses go, I'll usually carry one depending on what I'm wearing. When I go out, I usually have a ishtload of stuff with me--cigarettes, phone, keys, digital camera (yeah-don't ask!) and they'd be too bulky to fit into my pockets even if I'm wearing jeans. When me and the girls hit the bars and clubs we'll usually designate someone to bring in their purse so we all don't have to bring one in.

Oh--I can't stand girls that let their thongs show. It drives me nuts. I'll usually have the nerve to go up to them and let them know it too.
