Yeah, I'm on the bs bandwagon now, too. BS or a definite need for remedial English classes and serious need for social skills.

In the sad event that this is real...
1. A 2.12 is a bad GPA. Period. Even on my campus where chapters took "grade risks" on occasion, I do not believe anyone would have taken a 2.12 college GPA no matter how much they liked the PNM. See what tutoring services are offered, find a course on study skills, and concentrate on the entire reason you are in college. THEN worry about extra activities.
2. Acne sucks. I had acne in high school. In fact, my face, chest, and back didn't clear up until my sophomore year of college. Instead of isolating myself, I chose to put on some make up, skip spaghetti straps, and hang out with people who weren't worried about my zits. Which, as it turned out, was most people.
3. Your roommate being a lesbian is neither here nor there. And if you didn't click, it probably is because like most people who get pot luck roommates, you didn't have anything in common. Also because you're apparently uncomfortable with lesbians.

ETA: Students who have decent or good GPAs do not skip class because they have acne, don't feel like going, or whatever other lame reason they could come up with. It is unlikely that a sorority will be willing to extend a bid to someone who does not go to class.
