Yes we still have prevalent racism in America (albeit somewaht more covert).

This is true.

However, we continue to miss the big picture. I BELIEVE the poster of the original article was attempting to shed light on "reverse-racism" in the United States. Unfortunatley, ONE article is not nearly substantial enough to do that. Those who believe that "reverse-racism" exists are extremely eager to point to this SINGLE ARTICLE and globalize it to every facet of life. I have read many posts from BOTH sides that say "I can name this one time..." and "I know this one person who says..." Well guess what? That ONE incident and that ONE person hardly prove anything. It only proves that you have allowed one (or even a few) situation(s) to forever shape your perspective about this topic. Globally, it proves nothing.

Again I submit that had the act in the article happend in the reverse (i.e. white girls call out racial slurs to black individual), not only would it not be newsworthy, most Americans would not even bat an eyelash.
