Considering that you are a junior and only have a 2.5 GPA, joining a sorority is probably not in your best interest. The likelihood that a group would take a chance on you will vary depending on your campus, but in most instances, this is very unlikely. You're a huge grade risk if your GPA is a 2.5 AFTER taking 3 summer school classes that you THINK you'll do well in. Honestly, you are in school to get an education. From your post, you sound like you are trying to bite off more than you can chew...join a sorority, become a RA, raise your GPA. Concentrate on the most important one, the GPA.
