We get it on here too...someone posts a comment that sort of pertains to a Greek or other topic, but then all their other posts are about a movie that's coming out or something of the like. They get gone quickly as this is one of my pet peeves.
I run into the same occurrences on my website as well. I feel like the spammers are getting better and better as time goes on at posting relevant comments that actually look like humans. They're still relatively easy to spot though and I have Askimet delete them all.

PS: To the original poster, if your not using the Askimet plug-in yet, I highly recommend it.. It's the best anti-spam plugin for WordPress by far.
