Wearing letters was pretty common at my campus, too. (I attended
Capital University in Columbus, OH). In fact, most, if not all, of the GLOs had a specific day during the week that
all of their members wore letters. Sometimes you would be surprised at how many people were in XYZ. We had a really small greek population, so it was just one way to show people whoe we were.
We also had a few students who pledged local BGLO chapters (we didn't have any BGLO chapters specifically on our campus) and they
always had something with letters. From keychains, to bookbags, to umbrellas...
