i am apologizing to the phi mus on my campus......
i lived with a phi mu my junior year and she made my life totally miserable with a select few of her sisters. honestly, they were really annoying all the time...they would leave all their crap in my apartment, come in singing and clapping to wake my roomate up in the morning, and call 24-7. After my roomate dropped out of college, a tri-sigma and another AZD moved in with me. We took the Phi Mu letters off the door and put up Tri-Sigma letters insted. Well, the oldroomate came back and went balistic. She broke into my apt. stole money out of all our wallets, destroyed the Tri-sigma's room, and wrote Phi Mu all over the door in pink paint pens and pink magic markers. It was horrible!!!! Later, I found out from another Phi Mu that was in my class, that the Phi Mus that used to come over and hang out with my old roomate came and helped her with the breaking in and destruction of property, ect. The Phi Mu in my class apologized for her sisters behavior. Later, the chapter wrote me and the Tri-Sigma roomate apology letters and basically that they didn't condone what had happened, and the girls were up on standards. But needless to say i had a reallly bitter taste in my mouth about Phi Mu for a long time.
When I became head rho chi, they paired me with two Phi Mu's that I never knew, Heather and Carrie. The three of us became great friends and cried when we graduated. They totally changed some of my perception of Phi Mu.
