The GOP on a National Stage is not defined by its Fringe, if it was so Steve Forbes, Ron Paul, and Christine (the witch) O'Donnell and others would have been serious nominees along time ago.

I'm sorry and I'm not trying to say this to be rude or insulting, but to believe the GOP is about anything other than electability (as shown by Palin's vetting etc.) shows that people really WANT a certain thing to be true, rather than proving it IS true.
(EDIT: For the record, I wish it were true as well)
