I want to make this sorority the best it can be and I'm drawing a blank. I've researched and I've found just about nothing. I just need ideas on how to make this sorority a group girls will want to join and be a part of and not just for the boys and parties. We have our purpose and all the details (color, animal, flower, ect.) and I feel like we have a strong basis we just don't have all those little sorority perks! I may not be making any sense but I can't find the words to describe how much I want this sorority to be around this campus for a loooong time after I graduate.

Thanks,
Kayla
I recommend meeting with them to discuss this and planning how you will research this issue together (or have your officers research this issue). What have you all been doing this past 2 years? I am not sure what you want outsiders to tell you.

Many national and local sororities and fraternities didn't have everysinglething figured out in their early years. However, three things that distinguish those that will last from those that will eventually disappear are the three things that you all currently lacking: having a structure; having ideals and a firm belief in them; and a sense of direction (ritual-based or otherwise) that will guide everything else. Do you all do service and have a philanthropy?

You will not last long as a local sorority if you only have a group of people sitting around with colors, animal, and a flower. You can be a social club, though.

Good luck.
