I work at the Gap so I can clarify! Old Navy goes up to size 20 in the stores and the Gap goes up to size 16 in the stores. You can find larger sizes in Gap clothes online. I'm a Gap employee who is a size 12/14 depending on what time of the month it is, so I hear about it all the time! We do have stuff in our stores that goes up to size 16 but if you look on clearance only it's going to be the smaller sizes because those don't sell as quickly as the bigger sizes! I know we should stock more of the larger sizes but a lot of our stuff is sent from the warehouse in a "size run" where we get a certain amount of each size. If you find an item you like but there are only size 0 or 2 left then ask a salesperson to do a merchandise locator. If it is found on Gap online and it is full price then you can have it delivered to your house for free (only if you order in the store). If the item isn't full price you can add on a pair of socks to make the shipping free! This is just a heads up for those who can never find a 12/14/16 in our stores!
