WORRIEDSTUDENT----if she is on the pill and taking it as she is supposed to, she is probably not going to get pregnant. The only real way that a girl on the pill is going to get pregnant is if she forgets to take it or if she takes antibiotics......certain antibiotics can weaken the pill and cause a woman to ovulate.
I would like to point out that if you are involved with this girl, why do you not trust her? I really wouldn't recommend having sex with someone you don't trust....if you don't trust her to take her pills then why would you trust her to tell you if she was infected with an STD, etc...?
CONTRARY to popular belief (UF PIKE?) girls do not spend all their free time plotting ways to "trap" some poor little unsuspecting male into marrying them. Most girls who are in college are trying to prepare for their OWN futures/careers and the last thing they need is to get tied down to some guy they may not even like in a month or two and a baby. Chances are she's just having her good time or whatever the case may be....hopefully if she is having sex with you she at least likes you and respects you enough to be up-front.
As far as the "cycle" goes, in a perfect 28-day cycle (Day 1 being the first day of her period) a woman ovulates on Day 14.....but this is rare. Hormones can cause changes at any time and most women are not so regular. Without protection, it is a possibility that a woman can get pregnant any day out of the month, EVEN DURING HER PERIOD. It isn't LIKELY, but it CAN happen.
Not to discount anything that anyone else has said but I have been sexually active for 15 years and I have 2 children.....I know quite a bit about the subject having both actively worked at NOT getting pregnant and at getting pregnant. PLEASE....if you have any doubts see a Dr.
