Sorry, just confused, it never dawned on me that anyone, in this day, would be Ok with using nothing...I mean HIV can be in your system for a long time w/o showing up.

I don't mean that women need to check protection at the door attitude, but I always figured it was understood.
I think a lot of people, particularly college students, still have the "it can never happen to me" attitude.

I personally think that everyone should talk to their partners and get tested before deciding to have unprotected sex. (By unprotected, I'm talking about not using a condom since only condoms can offer some protection from STD's.)

I know it's a sensitive subject for people to bring up, but if you're having sex then you should be mature enough to talk about potential consequences and take steps to insure that you aren't carrying a communicable disease. I know that most county health departments will do STD tests either for free or at a really reduced rate for college students. I urge everyone to take advantage of the resources available.
