Jeans were fairly standard for us, too, except on Pin Day, which we had once a week for all of the sororities. But if you got pinned, you made excuses to dress up to wear it! That said, we were a bit less strict about having to be in pin attire to wear our pin. To this day, I'd rather see someone in a nice outfit with good jeans than to see a pin stay in its case.
