Reading in fundamental, especially in a discussion such as this...
Another point of college advice for Innocence and any other incoming freshman. READ the chapters in addition to studying your class notes. There have been many a time where I've missed a question (or 2 or 3  ) on a test/quiz because I skimmed and didn't read ALL the material assigned.
