the first thing i would recommend is that you throw out any ideas of "favorite" sorority. i know that is awfully hard to do when you have had a year(almost) to observe everybody, but believe me, it will be best if you can truly give every group a fair chance.
you will need recommendations to all sororities on campus. do you have any friends in fsu sororities?it's okay to let them know right now that you are going to rush in the fall. Maybe they will invite you over for lunch or dinner.
you will be a sophomore when you rush, so your activities from highschool will not be considered. if you have not gotten involved on campus, find a club or organization that interests you and join it. it may have some sorority members who are members-mores the better.
how are your grades? most chapters are looking for women with at least a 3.0, if not higher.
you can find a home as a sophomore at fsu, but you are more likely to be successful if you have recommendations(a must), good grades, involvement on campus, a clean reputation & an activity or two on campus. it never hurts to have some friends who are sorority members. the most important thing is to keep an open mind and roll with the punches and give each
chapter a fair chance.
go noles!
