I agree about the songs you mentioned, but he did hold his own as a producer and songwriter for others (Maxwell, Kelly Price, MJ, etc.) A FEW of his songs were commendable, but again, I do agree that most were just raunchy sexual bedroom "ballads".

As you can tell, I have never been an R. Kelly fan, so this latest bit of scandal does nothing to change that. What it has done is confirm for me A.) he IS the nasty @#$ed pedophile we always heard he was here in Chicago; and B.) how messed black folks are when it comes to not protecting their own children/excusing the behavior of their "stars" (the whole, well, she's a freak, she knew what she was doing, etc. line of thinking I'm hearing from other black women).
