Guys have switched from one fraternity to another as pledges on my campus, usually after being dropped and it doesn't cause that much drama, but I can very easily see how it could on some campuses. If it's worth it to your chapter to possibly receive some bad publicity from the other chapters on campus, do it. If not, don't.
