So just wanted to post a quick update, since now I'm on the other side of this whole thing. We're currently about 2/3 of the way through our spring informal recruitment, and it's so interesting being on the other side! I now want to go through and replay my informal recruitment to see what happened with this new knowledge!
While it really really really totally sucked that I did not have a good experience with formal recruitment, all in all, I'm grateful, because otherwise I would have joined Sig Delt and met all these fantastic women. I love each and every one of my sisters, and I can't wait to meet all of our new mems! I've met a lot of them, but not all of them yet. Being in Sig Delt was such a great decision for me, and I couldn't be happier. There are always girls who are down to do anything, from exploring Hollywood to an impromptu trip to Diddy Riese to watching the Social Network in the cafe to simultaneously loving/criticizing Spider-Man 2 and then watching LAPD bust up a nearby house party with a helicopter during moratorium. Everyone is so supportive and awesome and I love them all.

Recruitment & the first few weeks of school & everything that goes along with that makes for a super stressful couple weeks, but I'm so glad I'm spending it with my Sig Delts.
adklfsakldfj just a lot of happiness/fulfillment here.
oh, and I'm also a chair this semester... kind of weird! Especially because I remember telling my preffer during house tours (I had her both days) that I'm the kind of girl who will do a job if no one else will, but won't usually run for a position... apparently, that's not the case!
