You get good at finding them after a while. There a little more prevalent now, but after my first semester, there was a whole line of figurines, snow globes, mugs, etc. that my mom found. I was the same way with squirrels because my dad started amusing himself by finding squirrels for every occasion...Christmas, birthday, etc. 4 years as an active gave me a super impressive creepy squirrel army. As soon as I went alum I started handing them out to actives for their sis daughters so I now have a much less disturbing number of them. Though I kept my most impressive ones. The "office weasel" (a "squirrel" that appears to in fact be a weasel that one of our advisers told us to throw out of our office/guest room before an LC came to visit so she wouldn't have nightmares...I kept it instead) and two my dad found that make real squirrel noises. Squirrel noises are HORRIBLE.
At least pandas aren't creepy haha. They're only cute.
